How to Give to the Aase Fund

We invite you to support the Lynn Aase MUN Legacy Foundation’s Aase Fund, which enables deserving HBHS MUN students in need to attend national or international MUN conferences. Thank you to our founding donors who contributed to our 50-by-50 campaign, which allowed us to start a capital fund (the Aase Fund) with $50,000 by HBHS MUN’s 50th anniversary and also make our first Travel Awards. We now are asking for donation to our Travel4Gavel campaign, to double the Aase Fund. Donors receive a receipt and acknowledgement of our nonprofit status sent to the email provided. We recognize all donations on an Honor Roll of Donors. There are several ways to donate:

  • Make out a personal check payable to the Lynn Aase MUN Legacy Foundation (put your email on it please) and mail it to our contact address below. 100 percent of your personal check will go to the Foundation fund without incurring third-party transaction fees.

  • Add us to the autopay list of your bank account, as you would pay a utility or credit card bill. You can arrange to make donations in scheduled increments that are affordable and convenient to you.   • Consider remembering the Lynn Aase MUN Legacy Foundation in your personal will or estate.
  • Talk to your financial advisor about making a qualified charitable contribution using your required minimum distribution RMD from your IRA. This has tax advantages.

How Your Gift Helps

A gift of any size pays tribute to Lynn Aase, and most importantly, builds an endowed fund that pays expenses of students in need. For example, $25 pays for a dinner. $100 pays for a night’s hotel at an East Coast conference. $1,000 covers airfare to a conference in Europe. Every dollar donated helps students concentrate on preparing, instead of worrying about expenses.
