Aase Fund Award Recipients

On behalf of our generous donors, the board of the Lynn Aase MUN Legacy Foundation is pleased to announce that we have awarded the following travel grants to assist top students in the Model United Nations program at Huntington Beach High School. 

In the academic year 2022-23, the Aase Fund supported two HBHS seniors competing at the Harvard Model United Nations conference in Boston January 26-29, 2023. The two awards, of $1,200 each, covered about half of each student’s estimated costs. 

In the academic year 2023-24, the Aase Fund is supporting four HBHS juniors to attend the National Model United Nations Conference in New York City in the Spring of 2024. The awards, of $1,000 each, will cover about half of each students estimated costs. 

Awards are made on the basis of both need and merit. Thank you to our donors for supporting the Aase Fund and helping deserving students attend a national conference.
